Web bulletin boards are used to post messages to those within a certain group who have common interests. It may be an assignment in a particular class for a school or an organization who wants to post general information regarding their future meetings.
At CFLC, we offer bulletin boards covering: Interlibrary Loan, Cataloging, Reference, OCLC/Solinet, Systems Administrations and our Virtual Book Exchange.
The first five are used to ask questions, provide answers and suggestions and to give information regarding future Interest Group and Committee meetings. The Virtual Book Exchange Board is for posting library books or materials to be given away. CFLC members are welcome to submit their comments and/or questions at any time. These bulletin boards are reviewed daily; therefore, answers to questions will be posted as soon as possible either by a CFLC staff member or a CFLC member. CFLC members are encouraged to submit their suggestions and/or answers to questions to any of the bulletin boards as they see fit.
